MY MOST RECOMMENDED
MyFitnessPal: One of the easiest ways of tracking your daily food intake, MyFitnessPal is a convenient app available on most smartphones. It allows you to log your meals and exercise details, to help monitor any progress towards your goals, and even has a quickly growing online community. Quite honestly, trying to get in shape is almost impossible without some sort of tracking mechanism and MyFitnessPal is among the best out there.
Nutritionix: A comprehensive database of restaurant and food nutrition information, Nutritionix partners directly with restaurants and manufacturers for the most up-to-date data. This site also offers calculators to determine the breakdown of that value meal you were hoping to scarf down.
Rumble Roller: I love foam rolling, and when I’m looking for a little extra “oomph”, I opt for the Rumble Roller. It’s got a bunch of raised nubs to target and relax those really tight spots on the body. The blue version is the regular and the black is extra firm. Get one or both. Either way, the release you get is an incredible feeling.
Jump Stretch Flex Bands: Whether at home or outdoors, I like to have some type of equipment available to progress my exercises as needed. My go-to fitness tool when I’m away from the gym is a set of Jump Stretch Flex Bands. These differ from most ordinary resistance bands because they are a closed loop, without handles. However, by simply repositioning your grip in a variety of ways, the possibilities are endless. Incredibly durable, these bands offer a wide range of resistance levels and can be used instead of dumbbells or weights, as additional resistance to a powerlift, or even as a pullup assist.
